Add a friend

People are just addresses. To add someone, you need their full address — for example friend@kewlchats.net.

It even works across our sites: a @ready2.im friend and a @kewlchats.net friend can add each other — it's all one community.

1. In your app, look for Add contact (or a + button).
2. Type their full address and confirm.
3. They'll get a request to accept — once they do, you'll see each other online and can start chatting.

In web chat it's the same idea: hit + / Add Contact and enter their address.
